Or meeting opened with some great news from Pastor Garry about the ;Say Something Assemblies returning to Jackson public schools this coming October, and the welcome of Christian pastors as part of the solution for the challenges in our public schools. ALSO, Londa Rohlfing announced that after waiting on God's timing for the last year, that JMCSS is now welcoming Lifewise Academy to JMCSS! We are now in search of a Director, need to raise $1500 by May 9 to receive a matching $1500 grant from Lifewise to get started, and some folks to serve on the Leadership Team. The Admin Team graciously permitted Londa to bring her rack of patriotic handmade garments for sale as a fundraiser of 50% goingn towards the funding of Lifewise. We were treated with a great presentation by Shawn Graham, from Bartlett, TN on Conservatism. Todd Payne from BOTT Radio also accompanied him and shared with those in attendance with information on the great programming there - including Shawn's program at 3 on Fridays.
